WHO ARE WE.....
Empowering You 2 Move, NFP began with a simple but powerful conviction: people deserve second chances — and not just chances, but real support, real relationships, and real hope.
As the founder, I didn’t come to this work by accident. I came to it through lived experience. I’ve walked through seasons of struggle and transformation, and I know firsthand how hard it is to rise when the system is stacked against you — especially after incarceration, trauma, or generational hardship. I also know the impact that love, accountability, and community can have when someone is trying to turn their life around.
That’s why I started Empowering You 2 Move. This isn’t just an organization — it’s a mission born from my heart and rooted in faith, family, and a vision of justice that includes healing.
We serve individuals and families navigating reentry, poverty, and other life barriers. Our programs offer case management, life skills and job readiness training, parenting classes, housing support, and holistic care that includes the emotional, mental, and spiritual needs of the whole person. But more than services, we offer connection — because true change happens in community.
We say, “We are family strengthening families,” because we believe that everyone, no matter where they start, can thrive when they are seen, supported, and surrounded by people who care.
