At Empowering You 2 Move, NFP, we believe that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and cared for — no matter their circumstances. Our Homeless Outreach Program is committed to meeting people where they are, bringing resources, respect, and hope to those experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity.

🤝 What We Do:

Street outreach to connect with individuals in tents, cars, shelters, or living unsheltered
Distribute essential items: hygiene kits, clothing, blankets, water, and non-perishable food
Offer compassionate listening and relationship-building — not judgment
Provide on-the-spot referrals to shelters, housing programs, mental health services, and detox/recovery care
Help individuals access identification, benefits, and emergency services through hands-on support

💡 Our Approach:

We understand that homelessness is not just about lacking shelter — it's about facing trauma, isolation, and barriers to care. Our team builds trust over time, offering consistent support and a pathway forward. We treat every person with dignity, no matter their story.

🏠 Long-Term Goals:

Through consistent contact, case management, and advocacy, we help clients transition into safer living environments and begin rebuilding their lives.
